Core Policy

CORE DEFINITION:  The core is the old unit, which was replaced by the new or rebuilt item.

 

We do not charge a core charge upfront to keep your expenditures to a minimum.  However, we do require you to have a credit card number on file as a retainer until we receive your core back. 

 

You have 21 days from the time you receive your purchase to return the core back to us.  If you need longer than 21 days please call us at 888-372-2102 so that we know that you need extra time.  If we do not receive the core or do not hear from you within the 21 day period, we will automatically charge the credit card we have on file for the core value.

 

If your card has been charged because it was after the 21 day period, you may still receive a core refund.  Please call us at 888-372-2102 to let us know the tracking number of your shipment and we will issue the credit upon the reception of an acceptable core.

 

Acceptable cores must meet the following criteria:

  • Be the same model and part number which was ordered

  • If your part is an injection pump, it cannot be seized, meaning the drive shaft should rotate two full turns

  • Not been in an engine fire

  • Disassembled (some exceptions apply)

  • Not have broken housings.  No broken "Dog Ears" meaning broken mount fittings

  • Any electronic components/connectors must not be broken
